CVBL: LA Clippers Wins Big
LA Clippers showed their mettle today with a convincing 98-81 win over New York. "After some of the games we've had, I think we've left some doubt as to whether we can solidly beat anybody," said head coach Bob after the game. "I don't know that one game will erase those doubts, but I can certainly see the difference in the locker room."
The win came largely as the result of a great effort by Brown, the LA Clippers star. Said Bob of him, "The game would have gone down to the wire without Brown's efforts today. He really made the difference between another tough battle and a dominating win."
LA Clippers was led by Brown (26 points, 14 boards, 0 assists, a block), Reese (20 points, 2 assists, 3 blocks), Gleeson (21 points, a steal). New York was led by Crawford (12 points, 8 boards, 1 assists, a block), Olson (15 points, a steal), Speight (11 points, 5 boards, 5 assists).
LA Clippers jump to 37-24 with this win. They hold at #2 in the Pacific and stay at #6 overall in the Western Conference. With today's defeat, New York stand at 25-32 and 13-16 at home. They stay at #4 in the Atlantic and remain at #7 overall in the Eastern Conference.
