CVBL: New Orleans Spoilers for Memphis

New Orleans came in to today's game against Memphis as the underdog. They came out of the game with maybe the biggest upset of this season, pulling off a great win with a 113-109 win over their heavily-favored opponents. After the game, winning coach Bob was taking in the spotlight after the huge win, but Coach Bob of Memphis was nowhere to be seen.

New Orleans, led by Obryant, helped boost the team into the national spotlight. "Wow! we beat Memphis - what a great feeling! This moment is why we have worked our butts off in practice. I am looking forward to the rest of the season because we are going to make some noise," said the elated Obryant.

New Orleans was led by Obryant (16 points, 18 boards, 2 assists, a block), Brown (6 points, 4 steals), Ziegler (17 points, 2 blocks). Memphis was led by Sigler (24 points, 5 boards, 3 assists, a steal, 3 blocks), Maxwell (27 points, 5 boards, 2 assists, a steal, 2 blocks), Hayes (18 points, 0 assists, 3 blocks).

After this victory, New Orleans jump to 26-32 and 15-14 at home. They advance to #4 in the Southwest and improve to #12 overall in the Western Conference. With today's defeat, Memphis are now 45-13. They remain at #1 in the Southwest and remain at #2 overall in the Western Conference.
