CVBL: Oklahoma Cty Wins Confidently Over Golden State 116-105

Stanford had 42 points today, leading Oklahoma Cty to a 116-105 win over Golden State. "I've never seen anything like that," said Golden State star Taylor. "Stanford just flat-out dominated, and there was nothing any of us could do about it." Agreed coach Perez Suarez, "He's an excellent talent with an excellent coach. I'm afraid that we'll be seeing more of him down the road."

Stanford refused to get caught up in the excitement, however. "I just did what coach told me to do," he said. "And we couldn't have won without my teammates doing their best as well." While true, Stanford certainly increased the margin of victory from a close call to a solid win.

Oklahoma Cty was led by Stanford (42 points, a steal), Johnson (14 points, 5 boards, 3 assists, a steal, a block), Walston (16 points, 5 boards, 1 assists, a block). Golden State was led by Taylor (8 points, 4 steals), Chapman (10 points, 17 boards, 1 assists), Moore (18 points, 0 assists, a steal, 3 blocks).
