CVBL: Houston 109, LA Clippers 104

The fans got what they came out for, as Houston won a seesaw 109-104 victory over LA Clippers. "What a great game to have been a part of," said Houston star Sims. "The momentum kept changing and neither team really had a chance to run away with the game. It just came down to having more in the tank at the end, and that was us."

LA Clippers coach Bob was less enthusiastic about the game. "We had our chances to win the game, but didn't convert them. I'm most bothered that it seemed like we faded down the stretch; I think we may need to spend a little more time working on conditioning in the future. Regardless, it was a great game. Sims and [LA Clippers star] Brown really put on a show for the fans."

Houston was led by Sims (17 points, 8 boards, 1 assists, 5 blocks), Lewis (24 points, 2 assists), Banks (12 points, a steal, 2 blocks). LA Clippers was led by Brown (31 points, 7 boards, 2 assists), Patrick (16 points, 3 assists, 4 blocks), Galloway (18 points, 0 assists).

With today's victory, Houston are now 41-18 and 27-2 at home. They remain at #2 in the Southwest and stay at #4 overall in the Western Conference. LA Clippers are now 37-25. They hold at #2 in the Pacific and hold at #6 overall in the Western Conference.
