CVBL: Toronto Takes Easy Win over San Antonio
Toronto played a solid game today, beating San Antonio 107-91. San Antonio players and fans were expecting the game to be a bit closer, but everything went well for Toronto today. "It was really frustrating," said San Antonio star Thompson. "I thought we were going to be ready for this game, but we just couldn't do anything against them." Coach Bob seemed perplexed early on, but made a few adjustments late in the game that were too little, too late in this game but may help his side out next time these two teams meet.
Toronto was led by Murray (29 points), Wright (12 points, 18 boards, 0 assists, 2 blocks), Muse (14 points, 4 assists, a steal, 3 blocks). San Antonio was led by Thompson (13 points, 9 boards, 2 assists, 3 blocks), Owens (25 points, 1 assists), Gorman (7 points, a steal).
Toronto jump to 33-26 and 18-8 at home. They stay at #2 in the Atlantic and hold at #4 overall in the Eastern Conference. With today's defeat, San Antonio are now 27-33. They move down to #4 in the Southwest and fall to #12 overall in the Western Conference.
