Dallas played a solid game today, beating Philadelphia 89-77. Philadelphia players and fans were expecting the game to be a bit closer, but everything went well for Dallas today. "It was really frustrating," said Philadelphia star Roberson. "I thought we were going to be ready for this game, but we just couldn't do anything against them." Coach Bob seemed perplexed early on, but made a few adjustments late in the game that were too little, too late in this game but may help his side out next time these two teams meet.
Dallas was led by Burker (15 points, 15 boards, 1 assists, a steal, 2 blocks), Meyers (5 points, 9 assists, 2 steals), Wilson (17 points, a steal, a block). Philadelphia was led by Roberson (9 points, 6 assists, a steal, a block), Scott (12 points, 5 boards, 2 assists, a steal), Garcia (18 points, a block).
Dallas are now 36-25 and 22-8 at home. They hold at #2 in the Southwest and stay at #4 overall in the Western Conference. Philadelphia drop to 35-26 after this loss. They stay at #2 in the Atlantic and stay at #8 overall in the Eastern Conference.
