CVBL: Milwaukee Cruises to 124-111 Win over Toronto

A collapse by Toronto led to a 124-111 beating by Milwaukee, increasing the pressure on the Toronto coach. Bob had to suffer through the game as his players were ineffective and his former fans were heckling. To make matters worse, the team was dominated by hated Milwaukee, a bad thing for any Toronto coach.

"That ---- man can't win a ---- game if his ---- life depended on it!" screamed one disgruntled fan, who is obviously tired of Toronto losing ways. While Toronto deny it, rumors about that they have already started a search for a new coach who can turn this franchise around.

It was just more fuel for the fire today when Milwaukee took Toronto behind the woodpile for a 124-111 whooping. Although Vegas was predicting a Milwaukee win, many people believed the Toronto certainly had the talent to knock them off. Meadows did everything in his power to help his coach, but in the end Coleman led the Milwaukee to victory.

"You hate to see somebody with Bob's character go through this. It's just a sad sight," commented Milwaukee coach Bob. "We're obviously delighted to get the victory over such a worthy adversary in a big rivalry game like this, and all I can do is credit my players, my assistants, and our fans."

Milwaukee was led by Coleman (19 points, 21 boards, 4 assists, 2 blocks), Montgomery (19 points, 1 assists, 2 steals), Howe (18 points, 2 assists). Toronto was led by Meadows (16 points, 7 boards, 1 assists, a steal, 4 blocks), Hart (19 points, 7 boards, 2 assists), Price (7 points, 2 steals).

Milwaukee stand at 27-20 and 19-6 at home. They remain at #3 in the Central and stay at #7 overall in the Eastern Conference. Toronto keep stumbling with a losing streak of 5 games and are now 12-35. They hold at #5 in the Atlantic and stay at #15 overall in the Eastern Conference.
