CVBL: Golden State Surprises Sacramento
Golden State pulled off a huge upset today, beating Sacramento 89-78. "An easy game on the schedule," remarked some Sacramento players a couple weeks ago. "It'll be a nice day to rest up between some tougher games." Unfortunately those words were overheard by a reporter and ended up in the Golden State bulletin board. "No question, we were fired up about this game," said star Chapman afterwards. "Coach posted the newspaper clipping up, and we've been getting ready for this game ever since."
"I've never seen this team so eager to get out there and do damage before," said the winning coach, Perez Suarez, during his postgame interview. "I guess Bob ought to be putting duct tape over his players' mouths."
