CVBL: Dallas 97, Utah 83

Meyers was unstoppable today, leading Dallas to a 97-83 win over Utah. "I've never seen anything like that," said Utah star Brown. "Meyers just flat-out dominated, and there was nothing any of us could do about it." Agreed coach Coach Young, "He's an excellent talent with an excellent coach. I'm afraid that we'll be seeing more of him down the road."

Meyers refused to get caught up in the excitement, however. "I just did what coach told me to do," he said. "And we couldn't have won without my teammates doing their best as well." While true, Meyers certainly increased the margin of victory from a close call to a solid win.

Dallas was led by Meyers (21 points, 9 boards, 1 assists, 4 blocks), Kay (20 points, 7 boards, 2 assists, a steal, a block), Meyers (6 points, 9 assists, 6 steals). Utah was led by Brown (40 points, 15 boards, 1 assists), Edmonds (13 points, 11 boards, 2 assists), Banks (13 points, 2 blocks).

With today's win, Dallas are now 38-25. They hold at #2 in the Southwest and hold at #4 overall in the Western Conference. With this loss, Utah stand at 23-41 and 14-18 at home. They stay at #4 in the Northwest and remain at #10 overall in the Western Conference.
