CVBL: Detroit Wins
Detroit beat Chicago 91-88 today in a great game. Although some pundits were predicting a blowout, the two teams delivered a memorable game that left the fans on the edges of their seats until the very end. "It's one of those games that nobody should have to lose," said Detroit coach David Smith. "I'm definitely glad it wasn't us."
Chicago coach Bob will be rethinking some of his choices for some time. "I thought we tried the right things at the right times, but of course hindsight is perfect. Obviously not everything we did worked, though, and in a game like this that could have made the difference."

After today's win, Detroit improve to 56-6 and 33-0 at home. They have won the Central crown and hold at #1 overall in the Eastern Conference. After today's defeat, Chicago fall to 29-33. They remain at #3 in the Central and remain at #8 overall in the Eastern Conference.
