CVBL: Toronto Wins 108-88

Toronto dominated Brooklyn today, winning by a final score of 108-88. Although the score was 0-0 at the start of the game, Toronto quickly took charge and, aside from brief flurries of activity by Brooklyn, were never really threatened. "We were schooled out there," said Brooklyn coach Bob. "I mean it wasn't a blowout, but they sure were in control the entire game. [Toronto coach] Bob did a great job getting his team ready for the game, and Wright was nearly unstoppable." Toronto was led by Wright (15 points, 20 boards, 2 assists), Chavis (26 points), Reed (8 points, a steal). Brooklyn was led by Alves (14 points, 9 boards, 1 assists, 2 blocks), Jobe (16 points, 5 boards, 1 assists, a block), Mackey (5 points, 7 assists, 2 steals).

Toronto stand at 35-28 and 20-9 at home with this victory. They remain at #2 in the Atlantic and stay at #4 overall in the Eastern Conference. Brooklyn stand at 30-32. They remain at #3 in the Atlantic and hold at #6 overall in the Eastern Conference.
