A great game by Davis led Sacramento to a 108-78 blowout of San Antonio. "Coach had a talk with me before the game," said Davis afterwards. "He told me San Antonio was a tough team and that he needed me to play my best out there. He was right; I felt that when I started getting the job done, it gave the rest of the team a boost."
Said San Antonio coach Bob, "He was magnificent out there. I'd like to think that we could have won if he hadn't played, but I doubt it. Their whole team was too good for us today."
