CVBL: Orlando Upends Chicago 99-97

Orlando came out solid today, defying the predictions and notching the 99-97 upset of Chicago. "Somebody forgot to tell them they were underdogs," quipped Chicago coach Bob after the game. "No question, they were the better team out there today and deserved this win. I thought we came in prepared, but that was just a lot better than we've seen Orlando play for some time."

Credit has to be given to Orlando coach Bob, who brought his team together after some tough losses earlier and has them playing at their best. "Some of the us really took those losses hard," said star Mack. "But coach sat us down and showed us what we were doing wrong and what we needed to do to turn around. That was great to hear, and you saw the results today."

Orlando was led by Mack (31 points, 10 boards, 3 assists, a steal, a block), Archie (12 points, 5 boards, 8 assists, 2 steals, a block), Durham (20 points, 6 boards, 0 assists, a steal, a block). Chicago was led by Sigler (33 points, 2 blocks), Meyers (21 points, 8 boards, 2 assists, a steal, a block), Wilson (6 points, a steal).

Orlando jump to 32-38 with today's victory. They stay at #3 in the Southeast and remain at #11 overall in the Eastern Conference. With the loss, Chicago are now 40-29 and 24-13 at home. They stay at #3 in the Central and remain at #6 overall in the Eastern Conference.
