CVBL: Brooklyn Unstoppable

Brooklyn ruined the day for Charlotte with a 113-88 blowout. In a pregame interview, Charlotte coach Bob was optimistic about his team's chances. "We've made some mistakes lately, but if everyone does what they are supposed to we can beat Brooklyn. Don't get me wrong, Bob has built a good team and there's a reason they're the favorites. But we're just as good if we stop making our mental mistakes." Said Charlotte star Plungis, "Coach is right. We've done some reworking of our talent and our game plan, and we've got what it takes to play with Brooklyn."

Those predictions turned out to be wishful thinking, as Bob and his team will go back to the drawing boards after getting shredded in today's game.

Brooklyn was led by Owens (23 points, a steal, 2 blocks), Jeanlouis (16 points, 7 boards, 2 assists), Hargrove (6 points, 14 boards, 0 assists, 2 blocks). Charlotte was led by Plungis (17 points, 0 assists, 2 blocks), Torres (17 points, 0 assists, a block), Johnson (8 points, 8 assists).

Brooklyn have won their last 5 games and stand at 49-20 and 29-8 at home. They remain at #1 in the Atlantic and stay at #1 overall in the Eastern Conference. Charlotte stand at 44-26. They remain at #2 in the Southeast and remain at #4 overall in the Eastern Conference.
