CVBL: Miami Coasts Past Washington

Miami dominated Washington today, winning by a final score of 99-86. Although the score was 0-0 at the start of the game, Miami quickly took charge and, aside from brief flurries of activity by Washington, were never really threatened. "We were schooled out there," said Washington coach Bob. "I mean it wasn't a blowout, but they sure were in control the entire game. [Miami coach] Bob did a great job getting his team ready for the game, and Fenty was nearly unstoppable." Miami was led by Fenty (17 points, 18 boards, 0 assists, 2 blocks), Brown (12 points, 10 boards, 0 assists, 3 blocks), Castro (12 points, 1 assists, 4 steals, a block). Washington was led by Stinson (29 points, 1 assists, a steal), Butler (10 points, 15 boards, 1 assists, a block), Powell (6 points, a steal).

Miami jump to 38-30 and 26-9 at home with the victory. They remain at #2 in the Southeast and stay at #5 overall in the Eastern Conference. With this loss, Washington are now 33-37. They stay at #3 in the Southeast and hold at #8 overall in the Eastern Conference.
