CVBL: Philadelphia 98, Sacramento 88

Philadelphia came out on top in an exciting game against Sacramento. "I'm sure it was a dream game for the fans, with the result in the balance down to the end," said Philadelphia coach Bob. "But these sorts of games give me gray hair."

Bob and his counterpart, Sacramento coach Bob, brought out the best in their teams. "Not a lot of mistakes from either side," said Bob. "That's what I like to see. Of course, I'd like to see us win as well but only one team can do that. Philadelphia just played better, and we have to tip our hats to them."

Philadelphia was led by Rogers (6 points, 22 boards, 0 assists, 6 blocks), Thompson (29 points, 1 assists, a block), Phelan (10 points, 12 boards, 1 assists, a steal). Sacramento was led by Brown (21 points, 1 assists, 2 blocks), Boone (16 points, 2 steals, a block), Bowling (7 points, 10 boards, 2 assists, 3 blocks).

Philadelphia improve to 50-20 after today's victory. They hold at #1 in the Atlantic and hold at #1 overall in the Eastern Conference. Sacramento drop to 36-36 and 20-14 at home with today's defeat. They stay at #3 in the Pacific and hold at #8 overall in the Western Conference.
