CVBL: Washington Upsets Houston
A series of mistakes by Houston gave Washington the 85-78 upset. "We just lost our focus," said Houston coach Bob. "Frankly, they were overmatched and they knew it. We did what we wanted for most of the game, but just blew it. What a tough way to go. You have to give them credit - they stuck around against a tougher opponent and were in position to take advantage when we gave them freebies."
Washington was led by Borenstein (15 points, 11 boards, 3 assists, a steal), Griffin (12 points, 14 boards, 2 assists, a steal), Taylor (13 points, 2 assists, a steal, a block). Houston was led by Sims (22 points, 5 boards, 1 assists, 2 blocks), Lewis (16 points, a steal, a block), Robertson (5 points, 5 boards, 9 assists, a block).

Houston fall to 37-34 and 21-16 at home with today's defeat. They hold at #2 in the Southwest and remain at #7 overall in the Western Conference.
