CVBL: Milwaukee Storms Past Dallas
Dallas suffered another humiliating defeat today, with the 112-87 loss to Milwaukee increasing calls for coach Bob's dismissal. It's looking to be a tough season for the embattled coach, who simply hasn't brought in the level of talent or coaching required to succeed at this level. Said Milwaukee star Valentine after the game, "I can't be sure who to blame, but Dallas doesn't appear to be headed anywhere. Their coach hasn't brought in the kind of players he needed to, and it really didn't look like they knew what to do out there. Coach always comes up with a solid game plan for us and drills it into us, and I'm pretty sure he'd be able to do a better job than Bob is doing with Dallas."
Milwaukee coach Bob refused to comment on the Dallas coaching situation. "It's easy to be critical from where we stand, but I don't know enough about that situation to comment. I'm just happy with how we played today. We've got a great group of players and they did a tremendous job."
Milwaukee was led by Valentine (16 points, 9 boards, 2 assists, a steal, 3 blocks), Hunter (28 points, 5 boards, 1 assists, 2 blocks), Thomas (15 points, 8 boards, 1 assists, 2 blocks). Dallas was led by Robinson (14 points, 6 boards, 1 assists, a steal), Burker (10 points, 5 boards, 0 assists, 2 blocks), Scott (7 points, a steal).
With the victory, Milwaukee are now 46-24 and 26-10 at home. They hold at #1 in the Central and remain at #3 overall in the Eastern Conference. With this defeat, Dallas stand at 41-29. They fall to #3 in the Southwest and drop to #5 overall in the Western Conference.
