CVBL: Milwaukee and Indiana Down to the Wire
Milwaukee squeezed out a win today against Indiana, 112-109. Both teams came out of the gates strong but a late game push by Milwaukee was just enough to hold off Indiana. Coach Bob said, "This game is really a sign of things to come. We come out and play hard every night. Things are looking up, and the fans of Milwaukee have a lot to look forward to after this victory."
In the Indiana locker room after the game, players were in a somber mood. Even after the great team performance led by Cato, they still come up short. "We deserved to win. That was our game - we just need to be able to put our opposition away when we have them down. We really were the better team." said Cato after the game.
Milwaukee was led by Hunter (30 points, 5 boards, 0 assists, 2 blocks), Thomas (32 points), Ott (17 points, 2 steals). Indiana was led by Cato (23 points, 5 boards, 7 assists, a block), Williams (25 points, 6 boards, 1 assists, a steal), Craig (20 points, 2 blocks).
