CVBL: Detroit Comes up Big Over Chicago
Graham led Detroit to victory today over Chicago in a 100-92 game. "It was a tough one to lose," said losing coach Bob. "I thought we had a great chance going in, and even now I think we'd have a great chance in a rematch. But Graham made the difference for his team, and we really didn't have an answer today."
Detroit coach David Smith was equally admiring of his star. "Chicago were very well prepared for this game, and our boys weren't really ready for what they faced out there. I like to believe that we'd play a better all-around game when we play them again, but we'll be happy riding Graham and getting the win today."
Detroit was led by Graham (32 points, a steal, 3 blocks), Gilliam (24 points, 9 boards, 1 assists, a block), Kay (23 points, 8 boards, 2 assists, a steal).
