Memphis played a solid game today, beating Oklahoma Cty 107-92. Oklahoma Cty players and fans were expecting the game to be a bit closer, but everything went well for Memphis today. "It was really frustrating," said Oklahoma Cty star Pollard. "I thought we were going to be ready for this game, but we just couldn't do anything against them." Coach Bob seemed perplexed early on, but made a few adjustments late in the game that were too little, too late in this game but may help his side out next time these two teams meet.

Oklahoma Cty was led by Pollard (9 points, 14 assists, 2 steals, a block), Owens (22 points, 5 boards, 4 assists, a block), Smith (15 points, 6 boards, 1 assists).
Memphis are now 53-17 and 29-7 at home with the victory. They stay at #1 in the Southwest and improve to #1 overall in the Western Conference. After this defeat, Oklahoma Cty are now 29-42. They hold at #3 in the Northwest and remain at #9 overall in the Western Conference.
