"Definitely a great game," said New York coach Bob after the game. "The fans got their money's worth out of it, and both teams put up a good fight. We're just glad that we were able to finish strong and get the W. Crawford was a big part of that, and I don't think we'd have won without his efforts."

New Orleans was led by Jones (34 points, a block), Mitchell (12 points, 5 boards, 10 assists, 2 steals), Williams (28 points, 5 boards, 1 assists, a block).

New York improve to 51-20 and 27-7 at home. They hold at #1 in the Atlantic and hold at #2 overall in the Eastern Conference. With today's defeat, New Orleans are now 27-45. They hold at #4 in the Southwest and remain at #12 overall in the Western Conference.
