CVBL: Cleveland Knocks Off Toronto
Reid's great game led Cleveland to a 112-95 upset of Toronto. "He really gave us the win," said winning coach Bob. "I think the rest of the team really felt intimidated coming in, but Reid showed them that we could pull off the win. You could really see the confidence build as time went on."
Perkins paced Toronto, but his effort was not enough. "It's easy to blame the star when we come up short," said Toronto coach Bob. "But really, if we all played like him we'd have won. It's just that we sometimes take him for granted and sit around watching him dominate. Today's game served as a wake-up call for the rest of the team."
Cleveland was led by Reid (27 points, 7 boards, 3 assists, 2 steals), Martin (27 points, 7 boards, 2 assists, a steal), Stancil (12 points, 7 boards, 3 assists, 2 blocks).
