CVBL: Minnesota Routs Sacramento 115-89
Not that anybody expected today's Minnesota-Sacramento matchup to be terribly competitive, but this was almost comical. The 115-89 final score was enough of a headline, but the game wasn't even as close as that score indicated as Minnesota coach Bob played it conservative most of the game to avoid running up the score too much. "Boy, it's great to see our offense click like that," he said. "It's like a gourmet restaurant - everything on the menu looked good." Said losing coach Bob, "We were just outclassed, no question. We don't have the talent they do, and we weren't as prepared coming in. And it was definitely classy of Bob to pull his key players halfway through the game."
Minnesota was led by Jaramillo (10 points, 15 boards, 1 assists, 3 blocks), Walz (11 points, 12 assists), Raymond (20 points, 5 boards, 1 assists). Sacramento was led by Brown (15 points, 6 boards, 1 assists, a steal, a block), Boone (16 points, a steal), Reeve (20 points).
