CVBL: Indiana Coasts Past Toronto
Indiana posted a solid 118-95 win over Toronto today. "I don't think we left any doubt over who was the better team today," said Indiana coach Coach Hitch. "We pretty much did whatever we wanted out there, and I don't think they ever figured out what to do about Henderson's play."
It will be a tough task for Toronto coach Bob to get his team up for their next game. "We really came in believing that we had a shot to win this one, but obviously that didn't happen. They outplayed us from the start, and there weren't too many happy faces in the locker room afterwards."
Indiana was led by Henderson (39 points, 6 boards, 0 assists), Mccoy (22 points, 5 boards, 0 assists, 2 blocks), Cato (16 points, 4 assists). Toronto was led by Price (6 points, 2 steals), Simmonds (26 points, 0 assists), Lillard (8 points, 8 boards, 2 assists, a steal, a block).
Indiana stand at 41-31. They move up to #3 in the Central and move up to #7 overall in the Eastern Conference. After this defeat, Toronto fall to 25-48 and 16-22 at home. They remain at #5 in the Atlantic and stay at #15 overall in the Eastern Conference.
