CVBL: Detroit Express Steamrolls San Antonio 91-84
Slumping San Antonio lost yet another game last night, falling to Detroit 91-84. San Antonio coach Bob could not be located after the game, and there was an unconfirmed report that he could be done with San Antonio. Rumors are that another loss to hated Detroit could be the end of the line for the coach. Fans and players are beginning to get fed up, especially with losses in big games like today's. Detroit was led by Merriman (25 points, a steal, 3 blocks), Bigelow (11 points, 13 boards, 1 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks), Sandercock (16 points, 3 steals, a block). San Antonio was led by Adams (30 points), Bean (8 points, 15 boards, 2 assists), Kirby (13 points, 6 boards, 2 assists).
With the win, Detroit jump to 52-21 and 29-7 at home. They have won the Central championship and remain at #1 overall in the Eastern Conference. With this loss, San Antonio fall to 35-38. They remain at #3 in the Southwest and fall to #10 overall in the Western Conference.
