CVBL: Milwaukee Stuns New York
Mcduffie put Milwaukee on his back today, carrying them to a stunning 88-78 victory over New York. "I'd never tell my players this coming into the game, but I knew they were they better team and was just hoping to avoid getting blown out," said Milwaukee coach Bob. "And aside from Mcduffie, New York was the better team out there and probably should have won. But Mcduffie was about as good as I've ever seen him, and we were able to hitch up and ride him to the win."
New York coach Bob was impressed. "You certainly can't count on a single player to consistently steal wins for your team, but that's what Mcduffie did for them today. We just have to hope for a more human performance from him next time we meet."
Milwaukee was led by Mcduffie (16 points, 16 boards, 0 assists, 3 steals, a block), Young (11 points, 11 boards, 1 assists, a steal, 2 blocks), Yates (20 points, 1 assists, a block). New York was led by Frazier (16 points, 14 boards, 0 assists, 4 blocks), Scott (19 points, 0 assists, 3 blocks), Woods (6 points, 2 steals).
With today's victory, Milwaukee jump to 30-44 and 20-16 at home. They hold at #3 in the Central and stay at #11 overall in the Eastern Conference. With the defeat, New York fall to 43-31. They stay at #2 in the Atlantic and hold at #4 overall in the Eastern Conference.
