CVBL: Milwaukee Embarrasses Philadelphia in 118-77 Win
A rock-solid Milwaukee team routed Philadelphia, 118-77. "It sure felt good out there," said today's star, Jaramillo. "We basically accomplished what we wanted to do on offense and defense. Coach's game plan worked perfectly."
Philadelphia coach Bob was disappointed with the game, but not completely surprised. "Milwaukee is a great team, and we knew going in that if they played their best we didn't stand a chance. The only way we were going to win was if we got some breaks, and we didn't. But it was a great learning experience; they showed us our weaknesses."
Milwaukee was led by Jaramillo (10 points, 10 boards, 5 assists, 2 blocks), Hunter (25 points), Banks (10 points, 6 assists, a steal). Philadelphia was led by Garcia (18 points, a steal, a block), Wagner (8 points, 7 boards, 2 assists, a steal), Franklin (11 points, 6 boards, 1 assists, a block).
Milwaukee stand at 50-26 after the win. They stay at #1 in the Central and hold at #2 overall in the Eastern Conference. Philadelphia fall to 43-32 and 24-14 at home. They stay at #2 in the Atlantic and hold at #6 overall in the Eastern Conference.
