CVBL: Sacramento Coasts Past Charlotte

Sacramento played a solid game today, beating Charlotte 94-72. Charlotte players and fans were expecting the game to be a bit closer, but everything went well for Sacramento today. "It was really frustrating," said Charlotte star Neal. "I thought we were going to be ready for this game, but we just couldn't do anything against them." Coach Bob seemed perplexed early on, but made a few adjustments late in the game that were too little, too late in this game but may help his side out next time these two teams meet.

Sacramento was led by Davis (17 points, 13 boards, 1 assists, 2 blocks), Stanford (11 points, 14 boards, 2 assists, a block), Sherrill (17 points, 2 assists, a block). Charlotte was led by Neal (6 points, 2 steals), Richards (18 points, 5 boards, 0 assists), Williams (15 points, 0 assists, a block).

After today's win, Sacramento improve to 55-22 and 30-6 at home. They hold at #2 in the Pacific and stay at #4 overall in the Western Conference. With the loss, Charlotte are now 23-53. They stay at #4 in the Southeast and remain at #13 overall in the Eastern Conference.
