CVBL: Oklahoma Cty Takes Out Minnesota
Minnesota fans watched their team self-destruct today against Oklahoma Cty, in one of the biggest upsets of the season. "I'd like to take the credit for great preparations," said Oklahoma Cty coach Bob after the game. "We did work our rear ends off getting ready for this game, but I really can't believe the number of chances Minnesota gave us. First they let us get in the game, and later they let us pull out ahead and take home the win."
Minnesota head coach Bob declined comment after the game. Lost in his team's horrid performance was the one bright point, a solid outing by Jaramillo.
Oklahoma Cty was led by Buford (17 points, 13 boards, 2 assists, a block), Davis (28 points, 0 assists), Brown (10 points, 6 boards, 6 assists, a steal). Minnesota was led by Jaramillo (14 points, 12 boards, 4 assists, 2 blocks), Nordman (17 points, 5 boards, 5 assists, a steal, 2 blocks), Walz (10 points).
With the victory, Oklahoma Cty are now 21-56 and 14-26 at home. They stay at #5 in the Northwest and remain at #14 overall in the Western Conference. After the defeat, Minnesota stand at 45-31. They stay at #1 in the Northwest and remain at #3 overall in the Western Conference.
