CVBL: Philadelphia Blows Past Orlando 120-95

Even the most loyal of Orlando fans left today's game early, as they got pounded 120-95 by Philadelphia. "If I had wanted to watch this quality of play, I'd have watched my kid's pee-wee game," said one upset fan. "I mean, they were committing mistakes left and right. Maybe they'd have lost anyway, but Philadelphia got this game handed to them on a silver platter. It's been this way ever since Bob took over as head coach of the team; hopefully enough of these losses and we'll be rid of him."

Orlando players were quick to defend their embattled coach, though. "It's not him, it's us. He's not the one out there playing the game." Nobody can deny, however, that Bob was the one who prepared the team. Time will tell whether he survives or not.

Philadelphia was led by Simmons (17 points, 5 boards, 2 assists, a steal, 3 blocks), Glover (12 points, 6 boards, 5 assists, 2 blocks), Scott (18 points, 9 boards, 1 assists). Orlando was led by Rausch (14 points, 13 boards, 1 assists, 2 steals, a block), Avery (10 points, 8 assists, 2 steals, a block), Small (15 points, 0 assists, a steal, a block).

With this victory, Philadelphia improve to 45-32 and 26-14 at home. They stay at #2 in the Atlantic and hold at #5 overall in the Eastern Conference. After today's defeat, Orlando stand at 35-42. They remain at #3 in the Southeast and stay at #11 overall in the Eastern Conference.
