CVBL: Utah Express Steamrolls Indiana 85-75

Utah beat Indiana today, 85-75. But the big headlines in the game came from an incident involving Indiana players and coach Coach Hitch after the game. After the players disappeared into their respective locker rooms, Indiana players reportedly attacked coach, throwing him to the ground. Reporters waiting outside heard only pieces of the shouting, but the players were clearly upset by Coach Hitch's questionable calls late in the game. Indiana star Gray was one of those involved, and was still upset about the situation during the post-game interviews. "I'm not free to comment on what happened," he said. "But I will tell you that I'm working my tail off every game and expect the same effort from my teammates and coaches."

Interviews with Utah players were a bit less exciting, with Feaster giving the cliche line "we're just happy to come out with the win. Coach Coach Hitch and his team gave a good fight, but we were the better team today."

Utah was led by Feaster (15 points, 10 boards, 2 assists, a steal, 3 blocks), Cummings (28 points, 0 assists), Smiley (7 points, 15 boards, 2 assists, 2 blocks). Indiana was led by Gray (11 points, 10 boards, 0 assists, a steal, 2 blocks), Sanders (11 points, 8 boards, 2 assists, a steal, a block), Sigler (11 points, 0 assists, 4 blocks).

Utah jump to 44-34 and 25-14 at home. They hold at #3 in the Northwest and hold at #6 overall in the Western Conference. Indiana drop to 41-38. They hold at #2 in the Central and remain at #6 overall in the Eastern Conference.
