CVBL: Miami Coasts Past Atlanta
Miami served notice that their time has come, thanks to an impressive 101-90 win over Atlanta. "I think a lot of people have overlooked us," said Coach Bob after the game. "Maybe with this game and a few more quality wins, the rest of the league will start to take notice." Atlanta certainly took notice today, as losing coach Bob said "We really expected to put on a better game than this. But Miami were just too good."
Miami was led by Keeney (26 points, 6 boards, 1 assists, a steal, a block), Williams (21 points, 2 blocks), Romero (20 points, 1 assists). Atlanta was led by Perry (17 points, 7 boards, 0 assists, 3 blocks), Souza (20 points), Mcnair (14 points, 6 boards, 0 assists).
With today's win, Miami stand at 50-28. They have won the Southeast championship and hold at #3 overall in the Eastern Conference. Atlanta fall to 23-55 and 15-24 at home after the loss. They stay at #5 in the Southeast and remain at #14 overall in the Eastern Conference.
