CVBL: Brooklyn Takes Out Philadelphia in a Big Win for Bob
Brooklyn are leading Philadelphia in the Eastern Conference First Round 1-0 with an upset win caused by a series of mistakes by Philadelphia. "We just lost our focus," said Philadelphia coach Bob. "Frankly, they were overmatched and they knew it. We did what we wanted for most of the game, but just blew it. What a tough way to go. You have to give them credit - they stuck around against a tougher opponent and were in position to take advantage when we gave them freebies."
Brooklyn was led by Alves (22 points, 8 boards, 2 assists), Spring (18 points, 6 assists, a steal, a block), Hester (11 points, 10 boards, 1 assists, a steal, 3 blocks).
