CVBL: Bob Gets Big Win over Indiana
Milwaukee lead Indiana in the Eastern Conference First Round 2-0 with a big 104-90 win over an overmatched Indiana team. Always politically correct, Milwaukee coach Bob stated simply "We just managed to do what we needed to get done out there. The players had solid execution all around, and Thomas's effort helped set the pace. Indiana is a team we've had success against in the past, which I think gave us a bit more confidence coming in."
Indiana coach Coach Hitch was a little more frank. "We knew going in that we'd need a miracle to beat Milwaukee, and we didn't get it. They have better players and a better coach, and did what they were supposed to do out there. I'm just glad the final score wasn't even worse."
Milwaukee was led by Thomas (42 points, 11 boards, 1 assists, a steal), Ott (17 points, 7 boards, 0 assists), Jaramillo (10 points, 6 boards, 0 assists, a steal). Indiana was led by Cato (27 points, 3 assists, a steal), Mccoy (12 points, 8 boards, 1 assists), Williams (17 points, a block).
