CVBL: Brooklyn Clobbers Indiana
Brooklyn tied up the Eastern Conference First Round 1-1 with a 108-78 humiliation of Indiana, increasing calls for coach Coach Hitch's dismissal. It's looking to be a tough season for the embattled coach, who simply hasn't brought in the level of talent or coaching required to succeed at this level. Said Brooklyn star Lee after the game, "I can't be sure who to blame, but Indiana doesn't appear to be headed anywhere. Their coach hasn't brought in the kind of players he needed to, and it really didn't look like they knew what to do out there. Coach always comes up with a solid game plan for us and drills it into us, and I'm pretty sure he'd be able to do a better job than Coach Hitch is doing with Indiana."
Brooklyn coach Bob refused to comment on the Indiana coaching situation. "It's easy to be critical from where we stand, but I don't know enough about that situation to comment. I'm just happy with how we played today. We've got a great group of players and they did a tremendous job."
Brooklyn was led by Lee (15 points, 8 boards, 1 assists, 4 blocks), Miller (5 points, 4 steals), Olson (19 points, 0 assists, a block). Indiana was led by Gray (19 points, 1 assists, a block), Wade (13 points, 0 assists, 2 blocks), Mack (5 points, 9 assists).
