CVBL: Philadelphia Pulls out the Win over Brooklyn
Philadelphia are leading Brooklyn in the Eastern Conference First Round 2-1. They defeated Brooklyn last night by a score of 100-96 and proved that they are not done winning just yet. They have come under scrutiny lately, despite the fact that they have continued winning. Coach Bob said after the game that "We just can't impress the sportswriters enough, I guess. No matter how we perform during the game, there are going to be reasons to complain."
Brooklyn coach Bob couldn't agree more. "This is a good team. The better team just won tonight, that's all. Go write your story."
Philadelphia was led by Blunt (14 points, 11 boards, 1 assists), Wilson (7 points, a steal), Ferguson (16 points, 8 boards, 0 assists). Brooklyn was led by Spring (21 points, 2 assists), Miller (6 points, a steal), Jobe (11 points, 10 boards, 0 assists, a steal).
