CVBL: Minnesota 100, LA Clippers 91 in Upset Win
Minnesota evened the Western Conference First Round 2-2 after getting just enough breaks to upset LA Clippers, 100-91. The pace of play was clearly dictated by LA Clippers, showing who was the better team. But Minnesota came up with the right plays at the right times to convert more scoring chances and come away with the win.
"We got our share of luck today," acknowledged Minnesota coach Bob. "They pretty much dictated the game but we were able to get the job done when it mattered. Thomas really helped us out there; we couldn't have pulled it off without him."
