CVBL: Cleveland Upends Toronto 101-78
Cleveland closed the gap against Toronto in the Eastern Conference First Round 1-3 with a 101-78 upset of Toronto. "Somebody forgot to tell them they were underdogs," quipped Toronto coach Bob after the game. "No question, they were the better team out there today and deserved this win. I thought we came in prepared, but that was just a lot better than we've seen Cleveland play for some time."
Credit has to be given to Cleveland coach Bob, who brought his team together after some tough losses earlier and has them playing at their best. "Some of the us really took those losses hard," said star Courtney. "But coach sat us down and showed us what we were doing wrong and what we needed to do to turn around. That was great to hear, and you saw the results today."
Cleveland was led by Courtney (11 points, 13 assists, a steal, a block), Berry (23 points, 2 assists, 2 steals, a block), Powell (12 points, 18 boards, 0 assists, 2 steals, a block). Toronto was led by Wright (7 points, 12 boards, 0 assists, a block), Murray (11 points, 5 boards, 1 assists, a steal), Chavis (12 points, 2 assists).
