Detroit pulled even with Charlotte in the Eastern Conference First Round 3-3 in a game where their coach stole the headlines. The matchup between Coach David Smith's Detroit team and Coach Bob's Charlotte team turned into a interesting event. Midway through the game, a questionable call caused a tirade by the Detroit coach.
