CVBL: Brooklyn Comes up Big Over Indiana
Brooklyn will continue to the Eastern Conference Semifinals by beating Indiana 4-2. Jeanlouis continued to dominate the league and helped Brooklyn post a 93-91 win over Indiana. The game was a solid team effort, but Jeanlouis - a favorite for post-season honors - was outstanding, completely overshadowing a great performance by Indiana key player, Mack.
Jeanlouis's coach, Bob, had nothing but praise for his star. "He's just special. It's something just to sit back and watch him do his thing. He certainly brings pride to Brooklyn fans everywhere." Indiana coach Coach Hitch was concilliatory after the game as well. "When Jeanlouis is doing his thing, you just hope you can keep him under control. We didn't, though Mack certainly did his part. We really thought we could win this game, so the locker room is pretty quiet right now. We'll just have to turn our focus to next week."
Brooklyn was led by Jeanlouis (20 points, 6 boards, 1 assists, a block), Fuller (21 points, 1 assists, a block), Lee (14 points, 10 boards, 2 assists). Indiana was led by Mack (5 points, 10 assists, 4 steals), Sanders (14 points, 6 boards, 3 assists, 2 steals), Gray (19 points, 6 boards, 0 assists, a block).
