CVBL: Milwaukee Dominant in Win Over Brooklyn
Milwaukee brushed past an overmatched Brooklyn team today 94-75. Always politically correct, Milwaukee coach Bob stated simply "We just managed to do what we needed to get done out there. The players had solid execution all around, and Judson's effort helped set the pace. Brooklyn is a team we've had success against in the past, which I think gave us a bit more confidence coming in."
Brooklyn coach Bob was a little more frank. "We knew going in that we'd need a miracle to beat Milwaukee, and we didn't get it. They have better players and a better coach, and did what they were supposed to do out there. I'm just glad the final score wasn't even worse."
Milwaukee was led by Judson (10 points, 5 boards, 4 assists, a steal, a block), Fiore (14 points, 5 boards, 2 assists, a steal), Nichols (20 points). Brooklyn was led by Alves (13 points, 7 boards, 1 assists, 2 blocks), Blunt (15 points, 1 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks), Spring (17 points).
