CVBL: Utah Wins Confidently Over Philadelphia 95-81
Utah played a solid game today, beating Philadelphia 95-81. Philadelphia players and fans were expecting the game to be a bit closer, but everything went well for Utah today. "It was really frustrating," said Philadelphia star Williams. "I thought we were going to be ready for this game, but we just couldn't do anything against them." Coach Bob seemed perplexed early on, but made a few adjustments late in the game that were too little, too late in this game but may help his side out next time these two teams meet.
Utah was led by Smiley (12 points, 11 boards, 1 assists, 2 blocks), Sparenberg (5 points, 2 blocks), Kaplan (19 points). Philadelphia was led by Williams (18 points, 0 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks), Ziegler (17 points, 5 boards, 0 assists, 3 blocks), Evans (14 points, 2 assists, a block).
