CVBL: Put it on the Board: Minnesota Wins
Minnesota looked like champions today, beating Brooklyn 110-96. "That's the best we've seen them for a while," said an overwhelmed Brooklyn coach Bob. "None of the tapes we had of them showed the fluid execution that we saw out there today, and frankly we just weren't prepared as well as they were. I take full responsibility for that; with better preparation we could have won. Instead they just took over the game and never let us back in."
Minnesota was led by Patterson (22 points, 16 boards, 2 assists, 3 blocks), Thomas (21 points, 1 assists), Mark (17 points, 9 boards, 0 assists). Brooklyn was led by Lee (12 points, 20 boards, 4 assists, 2 blocks), Olson (29 points, 5 boards, 2 assists, a block), Spring (16 points, a steal, a block).
