CVBL: Atlanta Pulls Off Upset over Orlando
A much-improved Atlanta team pulled off the 86-67 upset of Orlando today. "That's the best we've played all season," said Atlanta coach Bob. "I've seen that potential in us all along, but for some reason it hasn't come out during games. Hopefully this outing can be the turning point for us that we can build on in future games."
Orlando was caught off-guard by new-look Atlanta. "What we got out there today wasn't what we had seen before or on tape, even in their best games. So while we always try to prepare for the worst, we had no idea that they could play as well as they did today. I still think we can beat them, and next time we'll have an idea what to look for."
Atlanta was led by Hamilton (21 points, 0 assists), Jackson (17 points, 6 boards, 0 assists), Williams (12 points, 8 boards, 1 assists, a block). Orlando was led by Lee (17 points, 4 assists, 2 steals), Brigmon (10 points, 6 boards, 0 assists, a block), Anderson (9 points, a block).
