CVBL: Denver Edges Out Milwaukee in Overtime 111 - 109

Denver and Milwaukee put on a terrific show today, but Denver came out on top 111-109. Said coach Bob after the game, "It's one of those games that you almost hate to see anyone lose. Both teams left it all out there, and I didn't want to see it finish. But in the end, we made a couple more big plays in overtime, and that made the difference."

Denver was led by Davis (20 points, 0 assists, a steal, 7 blocks), Strong (25 points, 6 boards, 0 assists, a steal, 2 blocks), Moore (14 points, 18 boards, 0 assists). Milwaukee was led by Williams (17 points, 9 boards, 0 assists, 2 blocks), Martinez (6 points, 2 steals, a block), Gibson (6 points, 7 assists, 2 steals).

Denver are now 1-0 with the win. They remain at #1 in the Northwest and advance to #2 overall in the Western Conference. Milwaukee drop to 0-1 and 0-1 at home. They move down to #5 in the Central and fall to #15 overall in the Eastern Conference.
