CVBL: Milwaukee Pulls Out Win Over Toronto 106-98

Milwaukee beat Toronto today, 106-98. But the big headlines in the game came from an incident involving Toronto players and coach Bob after the game. After the players disappeared into their respective locker rooms, Toronto players reportedly attacked coach, throwing him to the ground. Reporters waiting outside heard only pieces of the shouting, but the players were clearly upset by Bob's questionable calls late in the game. Toronto star Perkins was one of those involved, and was still upset about the situation during the post-game interviews. "I'm not free to comment on what happened," he said. "But I will tell you that I'm working my tail off every game and expect the same effort from my teammates and coaches."

Interviews with Milwaukee players were a bit less exciting, with Deleon giving the cliche line "we're just happy to come out with the win. Coach Bob and his team gave a good fight, but we were the better team today."

Milwaukee was led by Deleon (28 points, 1 assists, a block), Daniels (11 points, 11 boards, 1 assists), Fiore (20 points, 1 assists, a block). Toronto was led by Perkins (20 points, 0 assists, 2 steals, a block), Pearson (5 points, 16 boards, 1 assists, 2 blocks), Daniels (21 points, 1 assists).

Milwaukee improve to 1-0 and 1-0 at home. They advance to #2 in the Central and move up to #4 overall in the Eastern Conference. With this loss, Toronto drop to 0-1. They move down to #5 in the Atlantic and improve to #13 overall in the Eastern Conference.
