CVBL: LA Clippers Wins 98-87

In one of the most important games of the season for both teams, LA Clippers upstaged Utah 98-87. Showing more glitter than a Brittany Spears concert, perfect LA Clippers execution, a brilliant game by Minor, and impeccable play-calling by Adnan Bislimovic provided all the right ingredients for a big win.

Ensley was key for Utah, but after the game he looked like somebody had just run over his dog. "I thought we could do it. The whole game I was still thinking we were going to win. I guess that's the difference between thinking it and doing it. Give LA Clippers credit - they are nothing but class. I just feel sorry for coach Coach Young. He had us ready and we let him down."

LA Clippers was led by Minor (19 points, 13 boards, 1 assists, 3 steals, a block), Adams (23 points, 1 assists, a block), Quarles (16 points, 0 assists, a steal). Utah was led by Ensley (20 points, 7 boards, 2 assists, a steal), Bush (17 points, 6 boards, 0 assists, a block), Almanzar (11 points, 3 assists, a steal, a block).

LA Clippers stand at 1-1. They advance to #2 in the Pacific and improve to #8 overall in the Western Conference. Utah are now 1-1 and 1-1 at home with this loss. They fall to #5 in the Northwest and drop to #11 overall in the Western Conference.
