CVBL: New York Cruises to 92-78 Win over Milwaukee

Scott led New York to a big 92-78 win over Milwaukee in this evening's matchup. "We figured we could play with them, but Scott really surprised us," said Milwaukee coach Bob. "He really took us out of our game plan, and we never really figured out how to stop him. We'll just have to hope for a more normal performance next time we meet, and hopefully the final tally will be a little closer."

New York coach Bob was enthusiastic about his star's performance. "That was really something, wasn't it? Certainly we take a realistic expectation into each game, but it really gives the whole team confidence to know that Scott can pull off a game like he did today."

New York was led by Scott (16 points, 2 assists, 5 blocks), Brumfield (17 points, 3 assists, 4 blocks), Frazier (20 points, a steal, 4 blocks). Milwaukee was led by Amoros (12 points, 6 boards, 2 assists, a steal, a block), Momon (9 points, 0 assists, 3 steals, a block), Edwards (6 points, 4 steals).

New York jump to 2-0 and 1-0 at home with this victory. They hold at #3 in the Atlantic and stay at #5 overall in the Eastern Conference. Milwaukee are now 1-1 with this defeat. They fall to #2 in the Central and move down to #8 overall in the Eastern Conference.
