CVBL: Orlando Express Steamrolls Miami 78-68

Miami came up short today against Orlando, falling 78-68. "That was a really tough game to lose," said Miami coach Seb Kenyon after the game. "We came in thinking we could beat these guys. And we really played them well. But a few too many mistakes on our part kept us from getting the 'W'." One player who definitely can't be too downcast is Jackson, whose outstanding game was one of the bright points for Miami and caused some other teams to take notice.

Orlando was led by Buchanan (36 points, a steal, a block), Hunt (14 points, 19 boards, 0 assists, 2 blocks), Porter (6 points, a steal, a block). Miami was led by Jackson (16 points, 0 assists, 2 steals, a block), Thompson (8 points, 9 boards, 1 assists, 2 blocks), Bryant (8 points, 8 boards, 2 assists, a steal).

Orlando stand at 2-0 with today's victory. They hold at #1 in the Southeast and stay at #3 overall in the Eastern Conference. Miami fall to 1-2 and 1-1 at home after this defeat. They remain at #3 in the Southeast and drop to #8 overall in the Eastern Conference.
