CVBL: Dallas Wins Confidently Over Denver 100-89

Dallas overpowered Denver today, showing who is the better team. Most around the league expected this kind of result, but Denver head coach Bob was defiant until game time. "Underdogs, my ----. We've got enough talent and enough heart to play with anybody in the league." Afterwards, his tune had changed significantly. "We've got some work ahead of us before we can play at their level."

The only bright point for Denver was the great play by Eugene, and Bob was quick to praise his star. "If the whole team had played with his energy, we'd have been able to play with Dallas. The bright side is that we know what he can do against them, and we'll try to build on that for our next meeting."

Dallas was led by Lenahan (5 points, 6 boards, 11 assists, 4 steals), Dossman (26 points, 2 blocks), Wood (22 points, 9 boards, 0 assists). Denver was led by Eugene (10 points, 7 boards, 3 assists, a block), Conley (15 points, 2 assists), Harrison (14 points, 5 boards, 0 assists, a block).

Dallas are now 1-2 with this victory. They stay at #4 in the Southwest and advance to #12 overall in the Western Conference. Denver are now 2-1 and 1-1 at home. They fall to #2 in the Northwest and drop to #6 overall in the Western Conference.
