CVBL: Milwaukee Outplays a Better Dallas Team 93-76
Coming in as heavy underdogs, Milwaukee turned some heads today with a solid 93-76 win over Dallas. Said one broadcaster, "I didn't know Milwaukee were that good, quite frankly. They really haven't done much all season, but the way they came in and handled Dallas showed what they're capable of."
The thoughts were echoed by Dallas coach Bob. "We had pretty thorough film sessions coming into the game, and we never saw them execute that well. [Milwaukee coach] Bob did a great job getting them ready, and we'll have to see if this was a one-time performance or if they can maintain that level of play."
Milwaukee was led by Coleman (8 points, 16 boards, 1 assists, a steal, 4 blocks), Reynolds (17 points, 6 boards, 0 assists, a steal, 2 blocks), Thomas (13 points, 2 assists, a steal). Dallas was led by Bernard (22 points, 7 boards, 0 assists, a steal, a block), Jenkins (13 points, 1 assists, a steal, a block), Garcia (9 points, 8 boards, 1 assists, a steal, a block).
Milwaukee improve to 1-2 with the victory. They advance to #4 in the Central and move up to #13 overall in the Eastern Conference. After the loss, Dallas are now 2-1 and 2-1 at home. They fall to #3 in the Southwest and move down to #6 overall in the Western Conference.
