CVBL: Cleveland Spoilers for Minnesota

A sloppy performance by Minnesota cost them this afternoon against Cleveland. "You play like that, and you're going to get beaten," said Minnesota coach Bob after the game. "Doesn't matter who you're playing - we proved that today." Poor play all afternoon, especially in clutch situations, proved costly for Minnesota and negated a solid outing by Jaramillo.

Cleveland was led by Gill (14 points, 9 boards, 3 assists, a steal, 2 blocks), Darden (16 points, 3 assists, 2 blocks), Slaughter (13 points, 7 boards, 2 assists, a steal). Minnesota was led by Jaramillo (7 points, 16 boards, 3 assists, 6 blocks), Cook (24 points, 1 assists, 2 blocks), Nordman (13 points, 5 boards, 2 assists, a steal, 2 blocks).

Cleveland improve to 1-2 and 1-0 at home. They stay at #5 in the Central and advance to #12 overall in the Eastern Conference. Minnesota are now 1-1 after today's defeat. They move down to #3 in the Northwest and drop to #8 overall in the Western Conference.
